Cycle4Haiti Nite Rider Cycling Tour 26 May 2012

Some spooktacular sites will be seen on Dublin’s first Nite Rider charity cycling tour taking place Saturday 26th May. Nite Rider, the mystery cycling tour will saddle up, lead by one of Dublin Bus Ghost Tours master story tellers, and spin around Dublin’s most haunted hotspots in aid of The Soul of Haiti Foundation.

Africa Week Athletics 2012 26 May 2012

Africa Week Athletics 2012 will take place from May 21-27. One of the key events is a unique Athletics meet called 'oneracehumanrace' on the penultimate day. Over 500 people are expected to gather at Morton Stadium, Dublin, to take part in a day of athletics, which aims to introduce the sport of athletics to people of an immigrant background living in Ireland through an intercultural family event.

Thousands of students from all over Ireland will take part in walking initiatives to make the journey to their school a greener and healthier one during National Walk to School Week, May 21st – 25th. Green-Schools across the country will encourage pupils, parents and teachers to walk or park n’ stride to school by holding events such as Walk to School days, Walk on Wednesday, Feet First Fridays, sponsored walks and walking challenges.
